Thursday
- Woke up with the sore throat from hell and felt pretty awful even on pain meds this whole trip.
- Left after Ada's spring break dance camp performance. Half a dramamine seemed to keep motion sickness at bay for Ryan. It snowed on the last 20-30 min of our drive and it was beautiful.
- Arrived at Dori's Cabin. Fresh powder covered the front and backyard, and it snowed for a few hours after we arrived. The kids had a blast playing outside for hours in the snow, building a snowman and using the saucer.
- Ferro for dinner. Walked around downtown.
- Games/puzzle/fire.
Friday
- Breakfast at Alpaca. We'll have to come back here for lunches and dinners; they kept the old Mile High Cafe's bibimbap, and there are some other intriguing options.
- Played in snow back at our cabin, bunny- and bird-watched, etc.
- Got ramen etc. from Idy Sushi.
- Shopped downtown, stopped in to El Buen Cacao got chocolates and saw Sophia. Our kids were more interested in their watches...
- Hot tub.
- Cliff brought pizza back from Ferro
- Played Sorry
Saturday
- Cliff brought breakfast back from Amelia's donuts. Her pumpkin spice is still great; breakfast burrito and the sandwich are just mediocre.
- Kids played in snow. Left around 10 and got coffee at Alpaca on the way out.
Next time:
-Speakeasy book store that Alex Banda told me about.
-Check on argentinian food replacing arcade spot!
