One Wedding and a Reunion

Saturday, Cliff made breakfast burritos for all of us. After Ada's nap, we headed to downtown Langley to browse the cute little shops there. We ran into Auntie Maureen and Uncle Donald. The parental units had lunch together while the kiddos sprung for pizza and beer. We met everyone back at Useless Bay Coffee Co. for coffee, then headed back to the house to get ready for Cousin Ian and Gabby's wedding at Gabby's family home down the road.

The mini Dufault family reunion commenced while we waited for the ceremony to start and chowed on some appetizers. It was great to see everybody! The wedding was lovely, and Ian and Gabby wrote their own vows. Marko, Aunt Janie's hubby, officiated. Ada was chatty during the ceremony, so daddy took her for a walk around the property. Later, Ada had fun dancing and playing with the bean bags for the cornhole game.

Catching up with Aunt Leslie

Here she comes!

We spiff up nicely

Wait for it...

We continued catching up with each other while we waited for dinner to start. We were seated with Justin/Christy and some good friends of Ian. After our Mexican dinner, we danced for a bit to the jazz sounds of a live band (awesome!). Cliff took Ada back for bedtime while us Dufaults continued our little reunion. There was a bonfire and s'mores afterward, and we left shortly after making our way over to it--we were all pretty pooped at that point.

How cool would it be to live in a place that serves as such a lovely wedding setting??
